WHO WE ARE 


NET Modular is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Modulaire Group of companies, specialising in the manufacture of purpose-designed modular buildings.

Operating since 1987, NET Modular is at the cutting edge of innovation for the manufacture of transportable modular buildings and can provide solutions across a range of industries and applications.

Currently operating from 4 factories comprising 13,730sqm of undercover factory space and 52,117sqm of handstand and operational areas


WHAT WE DO


NET Modular has held contracts with the NSW Department of Education and Public Works for the past 30 years involving manufacturing, refurbishment, transportation, installation and removal of modular buildings.

Working closely with design teams, NET has capabilities to produce various modular solutions and provide a turnkey service.

Current projects include multi-storey school buildings which include connecting walkways, balcony modules and lifts to ensure compliance for accessibility. 

NET Modular also builds large scale modular office accommodation for NSW Health.

Chris Johnston

Chris Johnston

General Manager

Chris has recently joined the business in June 2023 and looks forward to continuing business growth and expanding capability.

Chris has 20 years of industry experience including manufacturing, construction, and large-scale maintenance contracts. Chris has covered roles in project engineering through to regional leadership across his career.

Chris holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (Hons), Master of Business (Distinction), and Cert IV Project Management Practice.

David Mulhearn

Quality & Business Improvement Manager

Since joining NET Modular in 2015, David has contributed to the coordination of design, drafting and manufacturing new products, and introducing new work methods which reduce risk.

David has over 35 years’ experience encompassing trade, supervisory, quality control and management across a range of industries.

David holds a Cert III Engineering – Mechanical, Diploma of Leadership and Management, Cert IV on Frontline Management, Cert IV Training and Assessment.

Planning & Procurement Manager

Tracy joined Net modular in 2020 to oversee the Planning and Procurement function.

Tracy is an experienced business leader with +25 years planning supply chain and sales and operational experience in mining, manufacturing, and retail.

Tracy holds a MBA (Distinction), Graduate Certificate in Competitive Manufacturing Systems and Practices and a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours).

Cheryl holds a Bachelor of Financial Administration (Accounting) from the University of New England, is a Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA), Graduate of the institute of Company Directors (GAICD), Member of AusIMM and a NSW Justice of the Peace.

Ric is deeply committed to cultivating a culture of workplace safety, innovation, and efficiency, and his certifications in CIV WHS, Return to Work Coordination, ICAM, TAE, Mental Health First Aid, and Emergency Response further enhance his ability to ensure employee safety and well-being.
