Background

We have identified that during the period of 2019 – July 2025, several working practices did not align with Clause 17.1 of the New England Trading Pty Limited Enterprise Agreement 2022 (EA) - Rest Period, Meal and Crib Times, for your unpaid meal break, or known as lunch break.

NET is committed to making full back payments to all affected former employees. Where the unpaid meal break should have been taken to the time the unpaid meal break was taken. In most situations this is 1 hour, in other situations it is 30mins, over a six (6) year timeframe prior to 10 July 2025.

Instructions

In order to remedy this situation, you will need to do the following:

A. Download the 3 forms below, fill them in and email the completed forms back to remediations@netmodular.com.au OR

B. Pick up hard copies of the forms from G2: 24 Gardiner Street, Rutherford. The completed forms can then be returned to the locked REMEDIATION box at G2 reception. 

The payment to former employees will be made around 30 September 2026.
